What does a Citizen Reviewer do?
A reviewer is a citizen tasked with interviewing agency staff, stakeholders, families, and individual children involved in the child protection agency. They may assist in looking over specific files and suggest recommendations for systems improvement. Reviewers are chosen by the panel after they have shown interest by submitting an application. Applicants are also screened through the central registry.

How does it help children and families?
Citizen reviewers are the Wyoming people’s voice in the child welfare system. The review results, and subsequent recommendations they provide to the Wyoming Department of Family Services are paramount in enhancing service delivery within local communities. This has a real effect on improving outcomes for Wyoming’s children and families.
How does my donation help?
Donations help us offer services to individuals and agencies that are not covered by our contracted service requirements. They are key to ensuring sustainability as many funding sources require us to provide matching funds to qualify for that funding stream.
Donated funds also help us to expand the reach and breadth of our services across the state. A donation to WYCRP or one of its programs provides for the safety, permanency, and well-being of Wyoming children and families.
Funds can be donated to WYCRP as a whole, or directly to an individual program. If as an individual or organization you have a particular program or project you are interested in supporting, call us to find out how you can help.
