  • Food Assistance

    Wyoming WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.


    SNAP Benefits provides crucial support to needy households and to those moving from welfare to work. SNAP benefits are distributed electronically through the Wyoming Card. SNAP supports better nutrition for low-income households.

  • Housing

    Wyoming HUD is the site for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. You can find information on a variety of housing assistance needs.


    LIEAP is a state and federally-funded program that helps people pay home heating bills November through June.  The program is open to homeowners and renters. It helps cover the costs of electricity, natural gas, propane, wood, diesel heating oil, coal and pellets when these are used for heating a home.


    WY Weatherization Assistance Program provides funds to the States to assist with the weatherization of the homes of low-income elderly and disabled adults and families. Applicants must meet low-income eligibility guidelines based on established Federal poverty guidelines. Activities include: insulation, storm windows, caulking, and other related activities to reduce home energy costs and increase home energy efficiency.

LCCC Albany County Campus - All services and academic programs offered through the main campus in Cheyenne are available to ACC students. Midwest Community Clinic - Offers many services, both to individuals and to our local businesses. We are still offering our vaccine program as well as some simple labs (pregnancy tests, U/A, PT/INR, Strep testing, etc). Can do blood draws for Wyoming Health Fairs, and with physician orders we can draw for LabCorp.  Are offering drug and alcohol screening, as well as some first aide type care, and Workman’s Comp care and follow-up for our business clients. Can also arrange to have CDL drug screening and physicals done locally with a little advance notice.

South West Counseling - A comprehensive community mental health and substance abuse treatment center that has been providing services to Sweetwater County for more than 40 years. Star Transit - Public transportation available to anybody in Sweetwater County, Wyoming.  STAR travels two routes at hourly intervals between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday.


Sweetwater Child Development Center - The center is mandated by the state of Wyoming to provide early intervention services to children birth through age five with a variety of delays and disabilities.
